TECHNOLOGY SERVICES CO-ORDINATOR
Location: 2 St. Clair Avenue East; full-time in-office (Must be able to come to the office 5 days a week)

Position Summary
This position is the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical and audiovisual support at Foundation House, with a strong focus on ensuring smooth, reliable meeting and event experiences for tenants and partners. The role provides in-person and remote troubleshooting, supports onboarding and orientation of new users, and maintains essential platforms such as Squarespace and WordPress. While the position is primarily business-hours based, limited after-hours coverage may be required for pre-scheduled priority events (e.g., board or tenant meetings). The coordinator also provides lightweight project assistance across systems (e.g., CRM/grant platforms, automation tools, and websites), escalating deeper issues to vendors or partners as needed.
Core Responsibilities
Tech & A/V Support
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems
Serve as the main point of contact on all IT-related matters
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and all software and hardware security, including patching, data protection, and up-to-date knowledge on potential risks
Respond in a timely manner to tech service issues and requests
Lead all meeting and event A/V support: ensure reliable setup and troubleshooting for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar, webcams, displays, microphones, and conferencing devices
Provide pre-meeting checks and live event coverage, including starting setups at least 15 minutes before scheduled events and responding within 10 minutes if issues occur during a live meeting
Develop and maintain quick-start guides and room documentation (one-page sheets, short videos) and offer short training sessions to tenants on how to run successful hybrid meetings
Support onboarding and orientation: set up accounts and devices for new staff and deliver a 20-minute “A/V & Wi-Fi orientation”
Provide limited after-hours coverage only for pre-scheduled priority events (e.g., board/tenant meetings)
Learn and support Skedda thoroughly: manage account setup, train new employees, and ensure bookings align with A/V and room needs
Systems Support
Help manage and connect various systems, such as WordPress, Wix, Adobe Muse, Salesforce, SmartSimple, Foundant, FormAssembly, Zapier, MailChimp, GoToWebinar, WordPress, Google Analytics, HootSuite , Slack, Skedda and more

Support Foundation House website maintenance and functionality
Provide balanced but lightweight project support versus deep admin across websites, CRM/grant platforms, automations; escalate when complex.
Provide device tracking & phone/voice mail support
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of progressively responsible IT support experience, with direct responsibility for A/V, meeting/event support, and end-user troubleshooting
Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Zoom/Teams, audiovisual systems) are an asset
Experience supporting web platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix), CRM/grant systems, and automation tools is an asset
Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of the adoption of technology and its impact on future operating models and organizational structures
Versatile communications skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and/or concepts to technical and non-technical people
Ability to work for multiple stakeholders and with varied needs and requirements
High level of comfort with juggling multiple projects with different deadlines and different internal clients
Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proficient with both Apple and Microsoft operating systems and related software
Strong project management and organization skills
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Strong interpersonal skills, a team player that actively participates in building strong teams
Basic level skills in image manipulation using Adobe Creative Suite
Video editing abilities in applications like Canva, CapCut or Adobe Premier
Hiring Salary: $62,000 – $78,000, commensurate with experience.
